We are pleased to announce that the EODC Forum 2017, held on the 9th and 10th of May 2017 at the Vienna University of Technology, has proven a great success!
We thank the over 95 participants from 49 organisations spanning 11 different countries for their attendance, as well as for their active participation in the lively and fruitful discussions. It was again great to see and feel the support that the EODC receives from partners and colleagues in the Earth observation (EO) community!
This year the EODC Forum was expanded to a two- day event that again featured presentations from the public, scientific and private EO sector focusing on general EO developments and technical topics.
Especially, the EODC Expo offered the opportunity to receive latest information from EODC and our cooperation partners: at 14 stands visitors had the chance to get insight into the EODC infrastructure and the EODC data archive as well as EO activities of different organisations that presented their actual developments in value-added EO services.
