The “ACube and BMon Demonstration Workshop” was successfully held on 27 November 2019 at the EODC.

During this workshop, the ACube demo service was presented to more than 60 participants. This prototype, which was developed during the FFG funded “Austrian Data Cube” project includes pre-processed and value added data from Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2, and additionally contains data from the FFG ASAP 14 projects “BMon” and “SuLaMoSa”.

Together with project partners from the Federal Ministry for Sustainability and Tourism (BMNT), Federal Ministry of Defense (BMLV), TU Wien and Joanneum Research, use cases were shown in order to demonstrate the possibilities enabled by the ACube service.

Furthermore, the current status of the FFG funded project Sen2Cube – a Sentinel-2 Semantic Data Cube Austria was presented by Z-GIS.

ACube Demo

The ACube Demo service provides access to Jupyter Lab, a web-based development environment allowing for data access, analysis and visualization as well as data access via OGC standardized interfaces (WCS and WMS) by Geoserver.

Interested users can register for the demo at https://acube.eodc.eu.
